Beauty | Brand Focus: Soap & Glory

Hello all! Firstly, a huge apology for my several month absence. University had me very busy and sadly I got completely out of the habit of blogging for a while. But I'm back now and aiming to keep up with my blog a lot better this time.
I thought I'd return with a brand focus post, on Soap & Glory. Soap & Glory have long been a favourite brand of mine - so I thought it was high time I shared some of my favourite products of theirs.

Smoulder Kohl Waterproof Eyeliner in Superblack
This eyeliner lasts all day and is very well pigmented - only one stroke of the pencil is needed for a dark and solid black line. It also has a sharpener in the lid which is always handy if you need it on the go and forgot to bring your sharpener with you. However, one point to note is that it does tend to seep down into the waterline (your bottom eye-line) after you've applied it to your tightline (upper eye-line), but this can be a blessing or a curse depending how it is you like your eyeliner.

Thick & Fast Super Volume Mascara
This lasts just as long as Smoulder Kohl and fans out the lashes nicely. Whilst it does a very good job of creating volume, it's nothing too dramatic that it can't be used for an everyday makeup look. So, for bold night-out lashes, perhaps an alternative mascara would be better.

Puffy Eye Attack Turbo-Boost Hydragel
I dab a little of this under my eyes in the mornings and at night before bed. As you only need a tiny bit each time you use it, the £12.50 it costs goes a long way. I've noticed the circles under my eyes getting shallower from using it, so it certainly does what it sets out to. Furthermore, it claims to be suitable for all skin types so you don't need to worry about it disagreeing with you.

No Clogs Allowed Super Self-Heating Deep Pore Detox Mask
I use this once a week and I love it. It leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft for even up to a few days after using it and reduces how many spots I suffer from. It's super quick and easy to use and not uncomfortable upon the skin either. For £11.50, it's a steal as it's brilliant quality and lasts a good long while too.

Whipped Clean Shower Butter
This is one of my favourite in-shower products - a 'shower butter'. Combining the properties of a shower gel and a body butter, it saves you time on moisturising with the moisture oils, such as shea and cocoa butters, it contains. The smell is wonderful, reminding me of vanilla cupcakes, and smelling similar to Soap & Glory's Smoothie Star Body Buttercream. It also foams up really well in the shower, meaning you only need the tiniest bit each time you use it, making the £7 bottle last for months.

I hope some of you found this helpful, and if you have any further questions about any of the products, please don't hesitate to drop me a comment or a tweet (@lifeinflorals). Thank you for reading!
